I cannot overemphasize the importance of diet when it comes to memorizing the Bible. I have experienced first hand the effects of the foods listed below on my mental capacity and daily memorization of the word of God. Bananas, avocados, and nuts especially (excluding peanuts which are technically not in the nut family but are rather legumes) are extremely helpful.
